REPORT: Matthew Stafford Would Have Accepted Trade To Any Team Except Patriots

The NFL world was rocked on Saturday night when the Detroit Lions traded Matthew Stafford to the Los Angeles Rams for Jared Goff and two first round picks.

Stafford and the Lions agreed to part ways last week and the team were reportedly getting many calls for the 32-year-old, ultimately they came to agreement with the Rams and while Stafford didn’t have a list of teams he preferred to get traded to, there was one team he didn’t want to go to.

The New England Patriots.

The Patriots are still looking for a replacement for Tom Brady and it seems like the potential of being the successor to Tom in New England isn’t as desirable as people think.
