Sarah Thomas is the first female NFL referee and last night, became this first female referee to ever officiate a Super Bowl. But that wasn’t why refs were trending during the first half of Sunday night’s big game.
A totally lopsided first half had fans saying “here we go again” with a Tom Brady-led team getting all the calls in an important game.
Funny enough, Sarah Thomas, responsible for some of those flags, has a 16-year-old son named – you guessed it. Brady.
Thomas’ son was born right after Brady’s second Super Bowl win, but we don’t yet have confirmation if he was named after Tom, but it’s more than likely.
