Ravens CB Jimmy Smith & Family Robbed At Gun Point After Being Followed From Airport

Ravens cornerback Jimmy Smith and his family are safe after a scary situation that took place in Los Angeles.

Smith and his family were robbed at gunpoint at a hotel after flying to Los Angeles. Jeff Zrebiec of TheAthletic.com reports that one was hurt during the ordeal:

Scary situation Tuesday night involving Ravens veteran CB Jimmy Smith. He and his family were followed from LAX Airport to their hotel, where they were robbed at gunpoint. Smith and his family weren't hurt. Smith has been in communication with the team about the incident.

Smith was followed from Los Angeles International Airport by the assailant and that Smith was in touch with the team about the incident.

Smith is signed for the 2021 season. It will be his 11th year with the team that drafted him in the first round of the 2011 draft.
