Carson Wentz is headed to Indianapolis.

Adam Schefter reports the Eagles have traded Carson Wentz to the Indianapolis Colts for a 2021 third-round pick and a conditional 2022 second-round pick that could turn into a first round pick:

The move re-unites Wentz with his former offensive coordinator and current Colts HC Frank Reich.

As a result of the trade, the Eagles will take on $33.8 million in dead-money cap penalties, which is the largest figure in NFL history for one player.
