If the Seattle Seahawks have no interest in trading Russell Wilson, they sure have an odd way of showing it.
On Monday, a season-ticket holder posted the letter sent to him by the Seattle Seahawks welcoming him to the 2021 NFL season as the league plans on having fans in attendance during the 2021 season after the majority of the league played in empty stadiums for the 2020 season due to the COVID-19 pandemic.
But one noticeable thing from the letter was left out.
Their franchise quarterback, Russell Wilson:
It’s not like the Seahawks opted not to single out their stars, either. The letter mentions D.K. Metcalf, Tyler Lockett, Jamal Adams, and Jordyn Brooks by name, and even includes coaches Pete Carroll, Shane Waldron, Andy Dickerson, and GM John Schneider.
It’s no guarantee that the Seahawks will trade Wilson before the 2021 season, but it seems like every week another clue is dropped that points to Wilson and Seattle parting ways.
