Patriots Already Spent Most Guaranteed Money In Free Agency In Over A Decade

The New England Patriots are not messing around.

The legal tampering period for free agency started at noon eastern time and Bill Belichick wasted no time. Not only did Belichick sign TE Jonnu Smith but he followed it up by signing OLB Matt Judon and CB Jalen Mills.

In fact, Belichick’s spending spree is historic:
