The Mitch Trubisky experiment is officially over.
In arguably one of the worst draft decisions in NFL history, the Bears traded up in the 2017 draft to select the only moderately touted QB out of UNC, Mitch Trubisky.
A few names the Bears opted not to take were some guys named Patrick Mahomes and Deshaun Watson – two quarterbacks who are on their way to becoming all-time NFL greats.
After a disappointing first four years, the Bears have moved on from their former 2nd overall pick, opting for Andy Dalton of the Cowboys to take over the reins of an otherwise talented Bears team.
Trubisky will serve as Josh Allen’s backup on a one-year deal.
