RUMOR: Broncos Are “Close To A Deal” With Packers For QB Aaron Rodgers

This entire thing has happened so fast.

Earlier today, ESPN’s Adam Schefter dropped a bombshell when he reported that Aaron Rodgers had requested a trade from the Green Bay Packers and was “done with” the organization.

A few hours later, the Packers may have come to the realization that the relationship is not repairable and have a deal in place to trade the reigning league MVP to the Denver Broncos:

Mark Schlereth just reported on @1043TheFan that a deal for the Broncos to land Aaron Rodgers is “as close to a done deal as it can get”

Schlereth is a former Denver Broncos player, who was a teammate with John Elway.

The move to Denver is something that attracts Rodgers as Josina Anderson reports Rodgers is intrigued by Denver and having a sense of “freedom” with the offense:
