Davante Adams caused a whirlwind on Twitter on Monday after posting a cryptic tweet that seemed to indicate Aaron Rodgers the in Green Bay was coming to an end.
“Gotta appreciate what u got while ya got it!” Adams wrote.
Now obviously this may mean nothing but Adams isn’t stupid, he knows what the reaction to a tweet like this would be given the drama surrounding Aaron Rodgers and the Packers organization. That’s why it’s more likely than that that this tweet is related to Rodgers. Maybe he thinks the relationship is so far gone that Rodgers 100 percent won’t be back and the two won’t be playing together.
If Rodgers does indeed leave Green Bay, Adams would be easily the most impacted by the departure. The 28-year-old has developed into one fo the league’s best receivers, reaching four straight Pro Bowls and was named first-team All-Pro last season.
