DK Metcalf’s speed was undeniable last season after he made perhaps the play of the year when he chased down Arizona’s Budda Baker after a Russell Wilson interception to save a touchdown.
Funny enough, the US Track and Field team tweeted at the Seahawks WR after the play joking that they have a spot on their relay team. Fast forward 7 months, and Metcalf is actually attempting to get that spot.
The 23-year-old is trying out for the team that will travel to the Olympics this summer at the Golden Games and Distance Open this Saturday.
