Ex-Steelers’ Alejandro Villanueva Takes Massive Shot At JuJu Smith-Schuster Over TikTok Videos

As it turns out, opponents weren’t the only ones who were turned off by JuJu Smith-Schuster making TikTok dance videos on the field before games during the 2020 season.

On Tuesday, the Baltimore Ravens came to agreement with former Pittsburgh Steelers offensive tackle Alejandro Villanueva on a two-year deal that is worth $14 million and includes $8 million guaranteed.

Villanueva met with Ravens reporters on Wednesday and the two-time Pro Bowl offensive tackle acknowledged that facing the Steelers twice a season was a motivating factor in joining Baltimore.

But what was most telling was Villanueva taking a massive shot at his former teammate, JuJu Smith-Schuster, telling reporters, “when you see Lamar Jackson play,” Villanueva told Baltimore reporters, “you want to do everything for him, protect him and continue to see the magic that he displays on the field.”

Steelers receiver JuJu Smith-Schuster created a ton of controversy last season with pregame dances posted to social media that included him dancing on opponent logos. It was never an issue when teh team was 11-0, but as soon as they started losing, opponents began using it as motivation and calling him out on it.
