Julio Jones’ time with the Atlanta Falcons is coming to an end as teams have begun lining up their trade offers to the Falcons for the super star wide receiver.
According to Dianna Russini of ESPN, the Falcons have discussed several trade offer for Jones, adding one of those offers include a future first-round pick:
Russini mentioned Titans players recruiting Jones on social media, and confirmed the Falcons have spoken with them. They’re still in the mix but Russini says as of now they’re a “long shot” to land Jones:
According to Over The Cap, the Falcons would incur a dead money hit of $23.25 million for trading Jones before June 1, but only $7.75 million in dead money after that date as well as $15.3 million in cap savings.
The 32-year-old Jones made his future clear when he told Shannon Sharpe on Undisputed that he wanted out from the organization.
Last season, Jones played in nine games and caught 51 passes for 771 yards receiving and three touchdowns.
