
The NFL and NFLPA agreed on updated COVID-19 protocols for the 2021 NFL season and let’s just say, life for an NFL player or coach will be a lot easier if they get vaccinated.
Here are the breakdown of protocols for vaccinated and unvaccinated players, via Tom Pelissero of NFL Network:
The big benefit for vaccinated players is they will no longer be required to do daily COVID tests and won’t need to wear a mask at the team facility or during team travel, while, non-vaccinated players will still need to be tested daily and face various travel restrictions.
The league also announced that vaccinated media members will be allowed to conduct in-person interviews with players, something that hasn’t been going on since early 2020:
