WELP: Dabo Swinney Said He’d Quit Coaching College Football If Athletes Ever Got Paid

Today marked a new day for college sports as athletes are now allowed to profit off their name, image and likeness.

While many are happy college athletes can make money of their self built fame and popularity, one prominent college football hates the new NIL Policy and two years ago made a strong statement regarding the issue.

Two years ago, Dabo Swinney said he wouldn’t work in college football if it became “professionalized.”

Dabo is in the midst of a 10-year, $93 million contract to coach Clemson and it seems a bit hypocritical that he is so against collegiate athletes making money, right?

Either way.. the day is here and we’re waiting for Dabo to turn in his two week notice.
