The Houston Texans are not ready to give up on Deshaun Watson.
According to Yahoo Sports Charles Robinson, the Texans have not given up hope that they can get their disgruntled QB to stick around despite his desire to never play for the organization again.
Robinson added that the team is not considering any small offers for Watson and aren’t actively trying to put together a trade:
FOX Sports’ Jay Glazer said last week that the team was not returning calls from interested teams and still want Watson to be their quarterback. Unfortunately for Watson, he also faces 22 accusations of sexual assault and misconduct.
Watson is taking part in the Texans training camp, primarily because he wants to avoid the fines that he can face by skipping out. After missing a couple of practices earlier camp, Watson took part today:
