The Atlanta Falcons will not be forced to forfeit any game this upcoming season due to COIVD-19.
The team announced Monday night that they every one of their players on the current roster are vaccinated, the first NFL team to record the feat.
The NFL has done diligence to get all of their players vaccinated, which has included implementing stiff, controversial penalties that include forcing teams to forfeit games when a reschedule isn’t possible if a viral outbreak occurs amongst unvaccinated players.
Atlanta has also done their part helping their fans and the surrounding community get their vaccines, offering the shot at the team’s preseason game last Friday and at their open practice inside Mercedes-Benz Stadium a few weeks back.
