The team announced they have released 40-year-old long snapper Don Muhlbach, one of the longest tenured players in the league.

How did they reward Muhlbach after 17 seasons with the team? By deciding to make the cut on his birthday.

The two-time Pro Bowler ranks second in franchise history in regard to longest tenured players and ranks 37th all-time in most games played.
