New York Jets QBs have a history of “seeing ghosts” during games against the Patriots.
On Sunday, the Jets first round-pick, Zach Wilson made his first career home start against the Patriots and it was a complete disaster. The No. 2 overall pick threw four interceptions in a 25-6 blowout loss to the Patriots. His performance reminded a ton of people when Sam Darnold threw four picks against the New England Patriots and stated he was ‘seeing ghosts’ while being mic’d up for the game.
A media member actually asked Wilson about that after the game:
Wilson became the third rookie in the past 40 years to have four interceptions in his first 10 attempts, according to Elias Sports Bureau research.
