REPORT: Texans Asking Price For Deshaun Watson Has “Softened”

It seems like the Houston Texans are willing to get a deal done for Deshaun Watson.

Jay Glazer of FOX Sports reported Sunday that the Texans have softened their stance and are now more open to trading quarterback Deshaun Watson than they have been throughout the year.

Glazer says that the Texans have already been offered three first-round picks and three third-round picks for Watson, but they have been holding out for an even better deal.

In addition, Glazer also mentions that the Dolphins are an obvious team to watch for Watson, seeing as how Too Tagovailoa is expected to miss at least three games with rib injury he suffered last week.

Watson requested a trade from Houston immediately after the 2020 season. He had just signed a massive contract in September.

Watson, who is currently facing 22 civil lawsuits alleging sexual misconduct and 10 criminal complaints, has been a healthy scratch in the team’s first 3 games in 2021.
