Chase Young Honors Sean Taylor With Taped Helmet During Game vs Chiefs

On the day that the Washington Football Team will retire the late Sean Taylor’s number, pass rusher Chase Young had the perfect way of honoring the former safety.

When Young took the field on Sunday for pregame warmups, the second-year standout had his facemask covered in small pieces of white tape — a look Taylor rocked regularly during his four years as a member of the Burgundy and Gold:

Prior to kickoff, the team will hold a pregame ceremony with Taylor’s family on the field. The safety’s iconic No. 21 will officially be retired during halftime, as Taylor will join Sammy Baugh (No. 33) and Bobby Mitchell (No. 49) as the only other numbers officially retired by the franchise.
