REPORT: The Los Angeles Rams Weren’t The Team That Made “Strongest Push” To Sign Odell Beckham Jr.

When Odell Beckham Jr. signed with the Los Angeles Rams, many thought it was the best offer he could’ve gotten. It appears there was another team that wanted to sign him and even offered a better contract.

ESPN’s Jeremy Fowler recently revealed the strongest offer Beckham received came from the Seattle Seahawks. The Rams would step up their offer with heavy incentives to seal the deal with OBJ to come out West with them instead of him landing with a division rival.

Some background on Odell Beckham free agency last week: Seattle actually made the strongest offer over the first few days. Rams stepped in w/ heavy incentives because they wanted the player, but they also had to ensure no other NFC West team got him. Arizona also inquired.

Odell made his debut on Monday Night Football against the 49ers and finished the contest with two receptions for 18 yards and one tackle after an early Matt Stafford interception.
