Ex-Cowboys WR Dez Bryant Takes Massive Shot At Jason Garrett After Giants Fired Him

Jason Garrett was fired as offensive coordinator for the New York Giants and one former player of Garrett has no sympathy.

Dez Bryant, who played for Garrett as a member of the Dallas Cowboys, tweeted about his former coach’s departure:

He praised Garrett, but was also critical of his football philosophy:

arrett was the head coach of the Cowboys from 2010 through the 2019 campaign and finished with an 85-67 record and three playoff appearances. hile he had a great record, his Dallas teams largely fell short in big games and failed to live up to expectations under his guidance.

Dez appeared in 113 games for the NFC East team from 2010 through 2017 and was a three-time Pro Bowler.

This isn’t the first time Dez has taken a swipe at his former head coach, back in 2020 when Garrett was fired as head coach of the Cowboys, Dez showed no sympathy:
