Jerry Jones Rips Referees For Amount Of Penalties Called On Cowboys During Game vs Raiders

Jerry Jones is not a happy man.

Following the Dallas Cowboys 33-30 overtime loss to the Las Vegas Raiders on Thanksgiving, the Cowboys owner ripped the NFL referees for the amount of yellow flags that were thrown on his team.

Speaking with reporters after the game, Jones was not happy with the officiating, saying the Raiders “took advantage” of the situation:

Las Vegas and Dallas each had 14 penalties, though the latter racked up 56 more penalty yards.

The Raiders ended a three-game losing streak with their first Thanksgiving victory since 1968. Las Vegas’ last win came a little over a month ago in Week 7 against the Philadelphia Eagles.

The Cowboys (7-4), meanwhile, have now dropped three of their last four following a 6-1 start.
