REPORT: Aaron Rodgers May Have Toe Surgery During Bye Week

The Green Bay Packers defeated the Los Angeles Rams, 36-28 and now will head into a much needed bye week especially for their starting quarterback, Aaron Rodgers, who has been playing through a fractured toe.

Rodgers will spend the bye week rehabbing his toe injury and according to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, Rodgers will have to make ad decision on whether to have surgery on his broken toe:

Rodgers needed a pain-killing injection at halftime of the Packers’ Week 11 loss to the Minnesota Vikings after someone stepped on his foot. This week against the Rams, Rodgers told reporters he didn’t need a second shot.

If Rodgers does indeed have surgery, the goal would be for Rodgers to not miss anytime and be available in Week 14 when the Packers host the Bears on Sunday Night Football.
