A day after Lincoln Riley bolted from Oklahoma to USC, Pete Thamel of Yahoo Sports reports that Notre Dame’s Brian Kelly is expected to become the next head coach of LSU:

For LSU, the team is announced in October that former head coach Ed Oregon would not return after the 2021 season, his sixth year with the program. The Tigers finished the regular season with a 6-6 record a year after finishing 5-5 during the COVID-19 shortened season.
