Army RB Appears To Stomp On Navy Defender’s Chest After Potentially Dirty Play

Navy’s 17-13 victory over Army didn’t come without controversy.

During the first quarter of Saturday’s annual matchup between the academies, a Navy linebacker appeared to hold and twist the ankle of Army running back Anthony Adkins after the whistle was blown.

Adkins, who was visibly frustrated, retaliated by stepping on the defenders chest after breaking free of the ankle lock. And immediately went down grabbing his foot/ankle:

The sophomore running back was able to walk off the field under his own power. Both players were given a 15-yard penalty for unnecessary roughness.
