Deion Sanders is out here making history.
The top recruit in the entire country just committed to a school most people have never heard of.
Collins High School’s Travis Hunter is the top player in the nation coming out of high school, and Jackson State head coach Deion Sanders somehow just nabbed him. The cornerback originally had verbally agreed to Florida State last year, but during a wild commitment ceremony, opted for Jackson State.
Sanders, who ironically was a star at FSU, has been gaining traction at Jackson State since taking the job in 2020, bringing in nationally ranked players after winning the a SWAC title in his first season.
