Chargers TE Donald Parham Knocked Out Cold During Play, Stretchered Off In Scary Scene

The Chargers opened up Thursday Night’s game against the Chiefs with a 75-yard kickoff return that setup LA in the red zone. After failing to convert, the offense stayed on the field and went for it on 4th down.

Herbert fired a ball toward the back of the end zone which was corralled, but soon after dropped by Donald Parham. In an awkward looking ending to a play, the cameraman zoomed into the face of Parham, revealing that he was knocked out cold.

Replays showed the Chargers TE appeared to be out after violently hitting his head on the turf.
