Last week, news broke that the Buccaneers may not bring Antonio Brown back from his suspension for using a fake vaccination card. After last night’s game, Brown’s dismissal from the team now looks unlikely.
In a game where it seemed like every Bucs skill position play suffered a game-ending injury, WR Chris Godwin suffered a season-ending one, after he tore his ACL via hit from P.J. Williams of the Saints.
Williams, who is now inclined per NFL rules to go low to avoid hits to the head on a defenseless receiver, did just that and took out the knee of Godwin in a brutal hyper-extension injury.
