Browns’ John Johnson Tweets “RUN THE DAMN BALL” After Baker Mayfield Interception vs Packers

The Cleveland Browns’ playoff hopes took a big hit on Saturday after the team lost to the Packers, 24-22.

The game was incredibly frustrating for the Browns as their quarterback Baker Mayfield threw four interceptions including a late 4th quarter INT when the Browns were on the cusp of field goal range.

It was an all around frustrating day for Browns fans and players as the team’s starting safety John Johnson III, who out for the game due to a hamstring injury publicly criticized the play-calling, tweeting “RUN THE DAMN BALL!!!” after Mayfield’s second interception of the game:

This isn’t something that head coach Kevin Stefanski will like to see. This isn’t the first time a Browns player has voiced his frustration with Mayfield on social media — everyone remembers the Odell Beckham Jr. fiasco.

The loss dropped the Browns to 7-8 on the season.
