Antonio Brown Says Bucs Injected Him With Dangerous Painkiller, Said He Would Be Cut If He Didn’t Play

The Antonio Brown saga continues, and this time AB is firing back.

After a seemingly unreasonable display of the Bucs WR storming off the field shirtless in the middle of the third quarter of Tampa Bay’s Week 17 game against the Jets, Brown is arguing that his actions are totally appropriate considering the circumstances he was put under by team medical staff and coaches.

In a lengthy statement prepared by Brown’s attorney, Antonio has accused the team of covering up his ankle injury by injecting him with a sometimes dangerous pain killer, then telling him he was cut when he refused to enter the game due to the pain the injury was causing him.

The Buccaneers have not released any statement at this time in response to Brown’s.
