The Steelers finished the season second to dead last in time during games spent winning, and somehow find themselves contending for a Super Bowl in the playoffs.
With wins over the Browns and Ravens in Weeks 17 and 18, Pittsburgh needed the Chargers and Raiders game to simply not end in a tie, and the football gods had quite the fun with that one.
In what was one of the best regular season games in history, Las Vegas opted to kick a game-winning field goal in overtime to beat the Chargers, in which if they decided to take a knee instead, they would have still made the playoffs and granted the Chargers a ticket as well at the Steelers’ expense.
