Tom Brady and Derek Barnett aren’t exactly friends.
In the fourth quarter of the Bucs’ blowout win over the Eagles in the NFC Wild Card Game, Brady had already thrown a pass when Derek Barnett came in and basically pushed him twice in the back. It happened long after the ball had been thrown, so Brady didn’t appreciate it at all.
Brady immediately turned around, and he and the Eagles defensive end exchanged words as teammates moved in to break it up.
