Chase Young Was Asked To Grade Potential Team Names Last Year, Gave ‘Washington Commanders’ An F

The Washington Commanders it is, and the world is laughing.

The Washington Football team unveiled their new name, logo and uniforms Wednesday morning after a two-year process and though some liked the rebrand, most NFL fans continued to point and laugh at the franchise formerly known as the Redskins.

Franchise player Chase Young of course headlined the majority of the imagery and videography that went into the release, but funny enough, the star defensive end hates the name and it’s on record.

Back in November, Young was on a show and during a segment, was asked to grade a series of potential candidates for the name. What did he give the Commanders? A big fat ‘F’.
