BREAKING: Dallas Cowboys Will Release WR Amari Cooper

For weeks, there has been speculation on the future of Amari Cooper and we seem to have gotten our answer.

According to ESPN’s Adam Schefter, the Dallas Cowboys are ‘likely’ to release Amari Cooper at the start of the new league year:

As Schefter mentions, Cooper is due $20 million in fully guaranteed money on the fifth day of the new league year, which is March 20th. The Cowboys are currently $13,423,684 over the cap, according to OTC.

The Dallas Cowboys acquired Amari Cooper in a trade in 2018. After posting back-to-back 1,000 yard receiving seasons, Cooper’s numbers fell in 2021.
