Tyrann Mathieu might be on a new team in 2022.

The 29-year-old has made two Pro Bowls and two All Pro teams during his three-year tenure in Kansas City. However, the Honey Badger made a cryptic Twitter post Saturday seemingly directed at the Kansas City Chiefs.

“Replacing me is easy,” Mathieu wrote. “Getting them to do the same thing I did is damn near impossible.”

According to NFL Network’s Ian Rapoport, Mathieu is ready to explore the free-agency market.

“My understanding is he’s going to test the market,” Rapoport said Sunday on NFL Network. “I think there is a chance he’s back in Kansas City, but they have so many priorities.”

Among the NFL’s most versatile defenders, the defensive back recorded 76 total tackles, six defended passes, three interceptions, three fumble recoveries and one sack. In coverage, Mathieu allowed 36 receptions for 414 yards and three touchdowns on 52 targets.
