Stolen Items Belonging To Demaryius Thomas Are Being Sold On eBay, Suspect Identified

The home of late Broncos wide receiver Demaryius Thomas was reportedly robbed earlier this month, according to ESPN’s Michael Rothstein. According to recent police reports, the Denver Broncos legend was robbed within a month after his death.

The Roswell Police Department in Georgia has confirmed they are investigating a series of thefts from Thomas’ home. Roswell Police says that former sheriff’s deputy Vashone Jones is a suspect in the theft investigation, per NBC 11 News. The list of stolen items includes a signed Tom Brady jersey, a signed LeBron James jersey, an ESPY award, thousands of dollars in cash, a hyperbaric chamber and multiple guns.

Jones and two other men — Malcom Daniels, and Perfect Robinson — were arrested for criminal trespassing, per an incident report obtained by ESPN.

eBay user shjo-5101 sold some of Demaryius Thomas’ possessions online in January. It appears at least two of those items were sold online months ago.

According to that report, Jones told police he used to live with Demaryius and helped him with medical issues. Jones said he continued to visit the house to check on it after Thomas died.

The Thomas family didn’t know anything was missing until Jones was arrested for trespass on March 13th.
