Jarvis Landry And Browns Have ‘Mutual Interest’ In Reunion After Trade For Deshaun Watson

Earlier this offseason, the Cleveland Browns released wide receiver Jarvis Landry in a move that saved the Browns nearly $15 million in salary cap space.

The Browns cut Landry after the two sides could not come to terms on a restructured contract, and there were no teams that were willing to trade for the 29-year-old receiver. However, now that Landry is still on the market, the Browns are reportedly interested in a potential reunion.

According to Cleveland.com’s Mary Kay Cabot, Landry and the Browns have “mutual interest” in possibly reconnecting. The team’s recent acquisition of quarterback Deshaun Watson is said to have rekindled some of the interest on Landry’s part.

“That’s his home and he loves it there,’’ Landry’s new agent Roosevelt Barnes told Cabot. “There’s mutual interest in him being back back there, but Jarvis also has interest from some other teams as well.”
