ESPN Insider Says These Four Teams ‘Could Be Active’ In Trade Talks During 2022 NFL Draft

We are 24 hours away from the first round of the 2022 NFL Draft, which means the rumors are at an all-time high.

Just two days before the draft kicks off, ESPN insider Matt Miller revealed the latest draft buzz he’s hearing. He went through a series of topics, including who the New York Jets could be selecting.

One of the more interesting tidbits of information came when he discussed trade possibilities. Miller named four teams that are expected to be “active” in trade talks during the draft.

He listed the Carolina Panthers, Houston Texans, Minnesota Vikings and Philadelphia Eagles as possible trade candidates.

The Panthers could be looking to trade back. Carolina holds the No. 6 overall pick in the draft, but doesn’t pick again until the fourth round. The team could decide to move back in the draft to acquire more picks instead of staying at No. 6.

The Eagles, meanwhile, have been rumored as a potential candidate to trade up. Philadelphia has been linked to several of the top wide receivers and could trade up in order to ensure they get one.

As for the Texans, the team has two first-round picks. Sitting at No. 3 and No. 13, Houston has plenty of options at its disposal.
