The Deshaun Watson saga appeared to be settled on Monday when a judge ruled for a six game suspension to be handed down to the Browns QB as punishment for the slew of sexual assault allegations and suits filed against him by 25 women over the course of last year and this year.
The punishment came with one caveat – that the league wouldn’t appeal the ruling in favor for their own idea on the suspension. As of Wednesday afternoon, the NFL did appeal that ruling, meaning Watson’s six-game suspension could very well turn into more games, perhaps even a year at minimum.
