Commanders Sell Mugs Showing Washington State Instead Of Washington D.C. In Team Store

The Washington Commanders are inventing new ways to embarrass themselves.

The laughing stock of the NFL over the past five years has seen a slew of incidents from sexual misconduct allegations from their own cheerleaders, a total rebranding due to a racially insensitive name and logo, and a stadium leaking sewage onto fans during games – to name just a few.

Somehow, this could be the one that sums everything up.

During the team’s Week 1 win in D.C. Sunday over the Jaguars, a fan notices that the team store was selling mugs with the silhouette of Washington state rather than Washington D.C., which would prove one hell of a commute for fans who wanted to attend games.
