Earlier this week, Nebraska fired head coach Scott Frost.
This week, the FOX College Show crew was in Lincoln, Nebraska and apart of that crew was Urban Meyer, who Nebraska fans really want to become their next head coach.
Just listen to these chants from Cornhuskers’ fans during the Fox broadcast as they called for Urban Meyer, who was in attendance.
“We want Urban!”
Meyer gave them what they wanted when he responded, “Regardless of the score, regardless of the record, this is the best fan base I’ve ever coached against,” he said.
Despite what happened in the NFL with the Jags, any program would welcome Meyer to coach them in the college ranks.
Frost was with Nebraska football since 2018 but failed to produce a single winning season. Once the team got upset by Georgia Southern in Week 2, it marked the end of his tenure in Lincoln.
