49ers Arik Armstead Accuses O-Lineman Honored By Lions Of Being A Racist Who Called ‘Multiple Players The N-Word During Game’

On Sunday, the Detroit Lions picked up the first win of the season, defeating the Washington Commanders, 36-27, at home. The team also had an awesome moment in the locker room when head coach Dan Campbell honored offensive line Dan Skipper, who was cut coming out of training camp, but was promoted from the practice squad for this game because of the injuries to guards Jonah Jackson, Halapoulivaati Vaitai and Tommy Kraemer.

A lot of people were fans of this moment because after all, who doesn’t love a great underdog story like this? Well at least one person. San Francisco 49ers saw this viral clip from the Lions locker room and responded by accusing Skipper of being a racist, who called multiple players the n-word.

Armstead posted this on his Instagram story:

“So we are cheering for a racist now? Called multiple players the N word in games. Hard ER,” Armstead wrote on his Instagram story.

A very serious accusation made by Armstead and would be tough to prove unless more players step forward and support his claim.

The 49ers also picked up their first win of the season, knocking off the Seattle Seahawks, 27-7 at home. The Lions and 49ers don’t play each other during the regular season this year.
