Jerry Jones ‘Wouldn’t Mind’ A Quarterback Competition Between Cooper Rush And Dak Prescott

If there’s not enough drama in Dallas already, here comes Jerry Jones stirring the pot.

Meeting with the media on Thursday, the Cowboys team owner and general manager came out and basically welcomed a quarterback competition between starting quarterback Dak Prescott and the backup — Cooper Rush:

Cooper Rush quarterbacked the Dallas Cowboys to a big win in Week 2 against the defending AFC champions, the Cincinnati Bengals. Rush completed 19 of 31 passes for 231 yards and a touchdown. He also led the Cowboys down the field for a game-winning field goal.

Cooper Rush will look to make it 3-0 as a starting quarterback on Monday when the Cowboys travel to New York to take on the undefeated Giants on Monday Night FOotball.
