Carson Wentz Suffered Fractured Finger During TNF Game vs Bears, Status “Up In The Air”

The Washington Commanders could be without their starting quarterback when they return to the field following their Thursday night victory, as it’s being reported that Carson Wentz fractured a finger on his throwing hand.

More specifically, Wentz apparently fractured his right ring finger during the Commanders’ 12-7 won over Chicago on Thursday Night Football.

His status going forward remains up in the air as a result of the injury, as he’s set to meet with a hand specialist in Los Angeles to determine how they’ll handle the injury.

Wentz has had an up and down season thus far this year. He started out with an impressive four-touchdown performance against the Jacksonville Jaguars, but dropped four straight after that while throwing four interceptions and getting sacked 19 times.
