Michigan State HC Mel Tucker Struck A Fan For Touching Him After Loss To Michigan

Michigan State is already under fire following a video that surfaced that showed several Spartan players jumping a Michigan player in the tunnel but there’s more.

A video is circulating on social media showing Michigan State head coach Mel Tucker having an altercation with a fan who apparently touched his head as he walked into the tunnel after the Spartans 29-7 loss to the Wolverines.

Tucker didn’t address the altercation with the fan while speaking with the media after the game. He did issue a statement about the brutal tunnel fight involving his players, saying, “no excuse for behavior that puts our team or our opponents at risk.”

In complete cooperation with law enforcement, the Big Ten Conference and MSU and UM leadership, we will evaluate the events in Ann Arbor and take swift and appropriate action.

The Spartans’ loss was Tucker’s first loss vs. Michigan as the head coach at Michigan State.
