Howie Roseman is one guy that won’t take any slander.
Despite being the general manager that built a team that brought Philadelphia it’s first Super Bowl and building a team that is currently 8-0, there are still some Eagles fans that have beef with Howie Roseman.
During Thursday Night Football, Roseman confronted an Eagles fan who was heckling him.
“I’m [expletive] forgiven for your first [expletive] Super Bowl?” Roseman said goodnaturedly. “[Expletive] you!”
The fans’ sign read, “Howie, you are forgiven!” It had AJ Brown’s name with the names of JJ Arcega-Whiteside, Nelson Agholor and Jalen Reagor crossed out below it.
Agholor, Arcega-Whiteside and Reagor were certainly disappointments for the Eagles at wide receiver. Agholor was a first-rounder in 2015. So was Reagor in 2020. Arcega-Whiteside was picked up in the second in 2019. All four are no longer with the team for different reasons.
At the same time, 2021 first-rounder DeVonta Smith has been a strong pickup so far. Roseman’s wide receiver draft selections haven’t been all bad and the A.J. Brown trade has completely changed the complexion of the Eagles offense.
