REPORT: Josh McDaniels In ‘Grave Danger’ Of Losing His Job If Raiders Lose To Colts

So far this season we’ve seen two in-season firings in Carolina (Matt Rhule) and Indianapolis (Frank Reich). According to Mike Florio of Pro Football Talk, there’s another coach who’s squarely on the hot seat and a loss on Sunday could make things worse for him.

Per Florio, Josh McDaniels is in ‘grave danger’ of losing his job and a loss against the Indianapolis Colts, who’ve become the NFL’s laughing stock, could be the nail in the coffin:

It would still be highly unlikely for McDaniels to get the heave-ho during the season. But he could be in grave danger of getting fired after 2022 ends, if he loses on Sunday.

The Raiders have been one of the league’s biggest disappointments with a 2-6 record.
