The NFL’s first regular season game in Germany went well, with the Buccaneers beating the Seahawks 21-16, but there appeared to be issues with the playing field.
Throughout the game, there were many players who struggled with footing, including a key moment in the second half when Tom Brady fell while running a route, leading to a Bucs turnover.
On Monday, Seahawks veteran pass rusher Bruce Irvin took to Twitter to criticize the conditions at Allianz Area:
Irvin is an 11-year NFL veteran, having been drafted by the Seahawks in 2012 and playing with five different teams over that span. He’s played on many different fields, so at this point he understands the difference between a good and bad field.
