The weather is insane in Michigan right now but that isn’t stopping two rival schools from battling it out.
On Wednesday, Western Michigan and Central Michigan played a football game in the midst of snowstorm in Mount Pleasant, Michigan.
The game was going exactly how’d you would expect with both teams struggling to throw the ball and resorting to running. The area around Central Michigan University is expected to get around a foot of snow.
Even the announcers were having fun calling the game:
Central Michigan entered the contest with a 4-6 overall record while being 2nd place in the MAC West. Meanwhile, Western Michigan is 3-7 and is 5th place in the MAC West.
Western Michigan leads the all-time series 51-39-2. Central Michigan took last season’s meeting 42-30 in Kalamazoo. Prior to that, Western Michigan won the previous 3 matchups.
